RE: have I been ripped off?

Thats quite a few miles for a normal user, it may have been an ex company / lease car and it really depends on the condition if its only been motorway miles. No doubt you negotiated hard based on the mileage and didn't pay the asking price ? Looks good in pictures and has right spec so if you are ha...

My neighbour cancelled 2 orders for the GTR. 1 for the missus back in April ( which he had then hoped to sell at a premium for his due in September). I guess he got fed up with my skyline jokes but said it wasn't special enough inside and a very harsh ride. I think he was also worried about the Niss...

RE: RS4 v 911 GT3?

911 Turbo, no brainer. Performance, handling, build quality, reliability, excitement, sensible depreciation and reasonable practicality for a super car. Mine is up to 525 bhp with a titanium exhaust and DMS remap and its the quickest car I will ever drive.

Seen both in the rear view mirror of my 911 Turbo lol. Neighbour has a GTR and a 911 but he is already fed up with the Datsun and Skyline jokes so needless to say he will be off loading it soon. Personally I like it but he is more of a badge snob

Residuals on the RS focus are strong. If you look at 6 year old ones now if they are nice they can command circa £12k which when it only cost £20k to start with is very good. Less than £1500 a year depreciation. I had one of the first Focus RS's in the country and even sold it for a premium after 6 ...

That's why Britain is the biggest seller of cabriolets in Europe !
Use mine regularly from March to November but have even seen people with roof down in December, January and February( thats too posy for me ). Must be the fact that I live in the English Riviera and balmy West Country.

Makes you wonder how they can charge so much for an inferior system and yet a small portable tom tom one for £150 is better.

Can't say scuttle shake was a big problem on my cab and to notice the difference I think you would have to be racing in the touring car championship. Cabs are posing cars and therefore there is a compromise but the same applies to both avants ( vans ) or saloons ( A4 rep car ).

If its perfect 400 miles isn't that far these days. I drove over 800 miles in a day to view two porsche 911 turbo (exact rare specs and low miles). Having left home 5.00 am I got home 11.30 pm and placed the order for the 1st car I saw over the phone on the drive back ( having already asked for thei...

£2500 grand off but I was a straightforward cash Buyer going into the 4th quarter when supply was greater than demand. Good Used car stock is difficult to get hold of right now hence the recovery in residuals but you shouldn't settle for anything less than a grand off and then start haggling for thi...
