Re: Front Parking Sensor Operation
UPDATE: Problem sorted out, it was a coding problem in the Backup Camera module, address 6C. Got in there with my VAG-COM and made the switch. Proper code was 1020006.

Front Parking Sensor Operation
I have a North America spec'd B8 S4 with Nav. I have just installed the OEM front parking sensor modules that I sourced from Kufatec. The coding has been updated to accept the sensors. They are now functional but my question is in the operation. When the Parking sensor button is depressed, car in a ...

Finally, what exhaust would you recommend? I see most of the people go for the Milltek option... I went with the Milltek resonated option, non valved. If I had to do it again, I'd go valved resonated. Never found it intrusive around town but on long highway trips with people in the car, it was a bi...

I've done just that, ordered a 2011 S4 and sold my '07 RS4. Spent a good amount of time at the wheel before deciding and am very happy with the S4. There is just less of a hard edge on the S4 without giving up anything in handling and acceleration. I always felt with the RS that you had to "drive it...

You lot are a bunch speed demons. I take my 2 wheelin' with a dash of nostalgia. Safer that way. As I've always said about motorcylces, I prefer to ride a slow bike fast than ride a fast bike slow. The out of the box performance availble now makes no sense on public roadways. My little stable includ...

Re: RE: Re: RE: how many B7
or move to Canada...only 188 B7 RS4s sold spread over a lot of real estate. I've only ever seen 2 other ones on the road in over 2 years driving the beast. Surprises me that Audi hasn't done better in Canada actually given the obvious traction advantages.rtd wrote: get a B5 a rare beast indeed!

On my resonated Miltek setup, I had what could be called a rattle although I think a creak would be more accurate as noise descriptions go. It was caused by the front frame cross member coming in contact with the exhaust. At rest, it looked like there was clearance (paper thin) but with heat, it exp...

Re: RS4 VIN Number
I had the foresight to take down the VIN number, can anybody help to decipher and confirm if this is an authentic RS4 and not a unti converted from an A4? VIN: WUAZZZ8EX6N901764 Any help is much appreciated! Thanks! :D It's consistent with an RS4 VIN. The N means it was made in Neckarsulm which is ...

Known by-product of direct injected engines but not likely anything to do with your problem.paulmoss wrote: the garage said the plugs looked very black and dirty ?

Re: Clutch characteristic or fault
I went out today and if you are not megaq smooth you kangaroo up the road like delboy in his reliant robin. Any one experience the same? Yes, same kind of experience but in the end, it is all down to control. For me, it's not a problem if you are flying through the gears, just in traffic. I've actu...
