Hi Adam, can you please post a photo so we can have a visual? thanks Don
Mine should be the same as yours but I am getting a little rubbing on fast sharp corners.

Re: Wheelsize
I think 11 x 19 is too big. There is not enough room between the upright and the tire shoulder at the back. You could space it out but then you might rub the guard and would not be legal. If you put a stretched tyre on 11" like 265 or 275 it might work but this tyre is really too small for 11" so wh...

Re: Rs4 B7 rear brakes, on Rs4 B5 rear
The rear brake mod is on here somewhere. The mounting bolts are bigger on the B7s and you need to scollop/grind out the hub a little so that the bolts clear the hub, otherwise you need to remove it which is a big job. Maybe you could sleeve the calipers and use the smaller bolt? I don't know. I was ...

Looks like a nice fit. I still have the old RNS-D and it is PITA, but just use my phone these days.

Re: B5 RS to B7-Advice Please
I don't think you can beat the supercharged b7 for performance but IMO a well sorted b5 is just as good as the standard b7 on the road and arguably more fun.

Re: 19" wheels
Lots of calculators online for this.
You need to go 255/30 so down one profile and check that the offset of the new rims is close to ET20. You can usually go as low as ET5 on an 8.5" rim. Some people run 265s but you really need a 9" rim.

Re: Disconnecting battery between use to avoid a flat batter
Yep, I do this as well when I leave my car in storage and starts first time on return. As you say just have to remember that dam code for the stereo.
Never any problems doing this. Also saves killing the battery.

Re: RS4 Exterior CREE LED Upgrade: Park, Fogs & Reverse Ligh
I'm in NSW Australia so its not a problem to run them during the day. Everyone does it. :) At night can be an issue but you can always turn them off in traffic at night. Still good to use on dark roads. Though not really any fog in my part of the world. I run even brighter LEDs on my E91: http://i72...

RS4 Exterior CREE LED Upgrade: Park, Fogs & Reverse Light
Thought some of you guys might be interested in my exterior CREE LED upgrade. The CREE LED reverse lights really provide a lot more light to see what is at the back. I measured the lumens and they are 3.5 x's brighter than stock. I have a spare set if anyone is interested. I also have two CREE festo...

Re: B5 RS4 a Pistonheads Hero
I also read this and still own and enjoy driving my B5 :) However, I am not sure if it will ever have the classic car status of say a UR Quattro or a Sierra Cosworth RS500 or the like or in our country an old 1960s/70s Holden or Ford, despite only 4000 or so b5s ever being produced and only 48 or so...

Re: New brakes
I also have some in the cupboard waiting to rebuild and put on :) Just wondering if there are any stats on the reduced stopping distance with B7 brakes? I remember when the b5 came out Tiff did a comparison with an S4 and the difference was phenomenal. I admit the b5 brakes don't have a great feel b...

Re: RS4 owners.....what's your age?
Not sure about UK or Europe but in Australia young drivers are now now prohibited from driving high power or turbo cars. i.e., there is no owning RS4s. We also now have hoon laws. You may remember Lewis Hamilton was caught under our hoon laws in 2010. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/motorsport/form...
