Alaister, to my simple mind, I fully admit to a large dose of cluelessness where engine technicalities are involved, re-mapping would show you where the fuel delivery may be excessive and if there is a problem then would improve performance as well as saving you fuel costs and since Mark at Automark...

Hi Fen, my experience was I couldnt/didnt read the signs, I bought a PS with 87k on the clock and a rebuilt turbo amongst loads of other expected items of repair expenditure such as brakes cambelt etc with the turbo rebuild approx. a year previous and after 4k of enjoyment suffered a big end bearing...

Whoops, hope I didn't give Hiltron, or anyone else the wrong impression when I posted yesterday, my rebulit engine will be run in on standard settings and then have the mapping looked at to see if any tweaking will help, my engine has not been suitably modified to deal with extreme hp's, only ported...
