RS2 Genuine Center Caps x 4
Hi Guys I haven't been on this forum for about 10 years or more. I have found a set of four Porsche/Audi center caps (with Rings) that I am happy to sell for £80.00 They're used, but in great condition. No damage, but have been on a car for a short period before being replaced with Porsche Logo'd ca...

RS2 FOR SALE. 22K MILES!!!
I'm about to advertise my RS2 for sale and want to give any real enthusiasts the first opportunity to buy before I put up for the general public. Ive had the car 3 years and Im the second owner. It's completely standard apart from a pro-fit Nakamichi hifi with Focal utopia speaker (over 3k spent). I...

low mileage RS2s
Hi Lloyd, sorry I can't add anything regarding the running cost issues. On the subject of low mileage RS2s, Audi UK own an RS blue model with IIRC less 1k miles on the clock. Although Im not sure whether that's a good thing or not, especially being on it's original crazed tyres. I've seen a red one ...

Hi mate, assuming that those parts are going to add up to a tidy sum, you could always try the Audi main dealer on Archer Rd in Sheffield. (sorry, can't remember their name  ) The parts guy is called Rob Clarke, he gives me a 15 per cent discount when I spend 500 quid or more. Sorry fo...

Bells and things
On the subject of brakes and bells, does anyone know of, or can recommend a place in the UK that sells large discs and can manufacture bells etc. Preferably under one roof?
Not really interested in Mov'it etc as I already have brembo 6 pots. Looking at a disc size of around 350mm ish.
Roy.

Angus, Yes I'm looking at the "6 pot" route, Gt 2 or 3 (are they the same?) I've got someone looking into it for me at the moment, so just waiting for a price. Who did you approach ? If it turns out too expensive, I'll go the big red route too. I'm just trying to build in a little "future proof-ness...

Does anyone know the front brake disc offset?
I'm hoping to upgrade to a set of 6 pots, anyone know the offset
of a standard 304mm disc?

Tyre advice needed.
I'm in the process of changing to 18" wheels on my RS2 and I'm shortlisting suitable tyres. The car has mainly summer use (dry!) and my priorities are dry weather handling/grip and quiet running. So far I'm looking at P zero Nero's, P zero rosso/corsas and Michelin pilot sport 2's. Does anyone have ...

RE: Tyres Question
Hi Tony,
As far as I'm aware you need to be storing them in a cool, dark and dry place and ensure that they are upright and not lying flat.

I asked Carrol Nash for a quote recently after reading (on this forum) that they do classic insurance and was turned down - Feb '95 car. Got a quote from tesco, with a large excess and was quoted 385 quid. Made no difference that the car has two tracking alarms, all they were bothered about was conf...

I agree with everyone else. The biggest difference for me is the RS2 is the original "RS", plus it's the only one with Porsche connections. So rare that you could go a year without even seeing one! In every area where the s2 was lacking, the RS2 has been improved ie seats, brakes and ultimately perf...
