RE: 95 Octane

OK...so in your experience what should a stock standard boost curve look like? What boost & revs should a stock RS2 be doing at peak power?

95 Octane

Thanks for the input. At this altitude (1600m above sea level) we only get 95 octane so we have to try and deal with less oxygen and cr4p fuel!! Torque is supposed to be flat and Power should peak - here it is the other way round! Before I do anything in terms of the ECU I am trying to establish a f...

Overlay curves: RS2 vs RS2 on dyno

Hi Thanks for the feedback. When we did the VAGCOM checks the N75 was OK. Still have not done a boost leak check... For another perspective... Had my stock (?) RS2 vs another stock (?) RS2 (both cars have 76mm decat) on the Dyno this morning. I was running 95 octane with NF black octane boost. He wa...

RS2s in South Africa

The figure that gets thrown around here in Johannesburg is around 20 RHD came into SA. Not confirmed. Probably less.

I know of 3 in Cape Town and 4 in Joburg plus there is a NogBlue one for sale (166 000km) ZAR250k.

Not sure where the rest are!?!?

Advice for darkest Africa on weird RS2 power!?!?

Hi Jozi Town in darkest Africa calling! 95 RS2, stock (so I am told) with a 76mm decat pipe. 95 octane with NF Black octane booster. New air temp sensor. Turbo removed and resealed and refitted/ boost leaks checked. Cleaned MAF. VAGCOM checks done today with following error: 00561 - Mixture Adaptati...

Adjustable Steering Column

Anyone ever heard of a retrofit of the adjustable steering from the urS6 to the RS2. At 194cm/ 6ft5 I can set up the steering in my urS6 so that I can get my knees under the wheel. No way in my RS2!

What about a spacer just to bring the wheel closer to me?

RE: Poor intel

Hi again
I have been in touch with the local agents regarding the Bilsteins and it looks like the B6 Sport (008809) may be the answer:
Front: PE3-3086
Back: BE3-6212
Thanks for the feedback.

Boge = S2/ Bilstein = RS2

Hi Thanks for the Boge details. I have been trawling the net for several days now and most articles I have read make mention of the fact that the S2 and the RS2 share the same springs but that the RS2 was upgraded from Boge to firmer Bilsteins. Here is an example of a quote from MCP Motorsport: Rela...

OEM Bilsteins?

Hi

Does anyone have the Bilstein Part #'s for the OEM Shocks for the RS2?

The online catalog makes no reference to the RS2 and the local agent is also battling and has asked me to check the thread diameter of the front strut (should apparently be 54mm???)

Thanks
