Dropped into the dealership today and it's an electrical fault, not operator error!

They didn't have aa S4 Cab for me for next week either!

Thanks guys - at least it sounds like it's faulty and it's not just useless! Now booked into the dealers but not until next week. Just in time for the weather to cool off, no doubt.

How are you guys finding your climate control in the new S4? I don't seem to be able to get cold air. Pressing the auto button gives a stream of slightly cool air but it's by no means cold which is a nightmare in the current hot weather.
