wobbly suspension?

Guys, For a while I've noted that at fairly high speed, a little flicker of the wheel and the back end is all over the place...I replaced the suspension to H&R coilover and currently have it pretty low down. I still have the overall soft and wallowy feeling, which I'd really like to tighten up, but ...

Guys, thanks for the tips on the discs from DBA. I've sent an inquiry off to them and hopefully I can get a number for the Clark Motor sport lot in Scotland. I'm off on holiday shortly, so could order these and get them put on when I get back... My rear discs are shot too, do you recommend I just ge...

New Discs and pads required....keep standard or upgrade??

I need to replace discs both front and rear along with front pads (the rear pads are ok). The cheapest quote I've had so far including fitting is £ 1255 for OEM AUDI replacement parts!! Apart from the B7 upgrade and factoring in costs, what would be my most economical solution here? There's no room ...

MRC of the North?

Guys, I read so many posts of MRC and how Doug can work wonders. Indeed, many of you would rather go there than the stealers. That would be great for me if I live down south, but I'm in the North East of Scotland!! Can anyone recommend anybody up here or in Scotland that can do a good health check??...

Vag-Com

Guys, I'm relatively new to this... I ordered a VAG-Com (OBD 2) and received it today in the post. So, the DIY projects got an immediate shelving as I tried to load the new software. For the life of me, I could not load the driver and the software would not recognize the driver / interface. Is the O...

RE: 5 months in and a couple of questions.......

The wear sensors in the pads have been cut off and new looms are required. Is that the adjustable set of HR coilovers?? What about FK suspension kits, how do you rate them?

5 months in and a couple of questions.......

Hi guys, my first post, love the site... I bought my B5 with 78k on the clock and have had the car now for 5 months. The car is fairly standard apart from an uprated exhaust (miltex I think). I have to say these months have been good, there's not too many up here in Aberdeen and it's nice to embarra...
