C5 RS6 Isofix Bracket (single) + bolts
All, as I have now sold my RS6  I have an isofix bracket and bolts available. This will fit either side of the car and cost me approx £50 so I'm looking for £40 delivered. The bracket part number is 8D0 813 545 and was trial fitted to my car for approx 1 week but never actually used other than ...

Thanks all! Forgot to mention, I have a click4warranty policy on the car which is fully transferrable and expires on 01/03/11. This helped cover some of the costs of work over the last year and has paid for itself already. Max claim limit of £7k, and also covers wear and tear items with a 10% excess...

Thanks Steve, bit of a heart wrenching decision but financially it makes sense... At least that's what I keep telling myself! RE: Gearbox leak
I had the gearbox prop seal replaced at my last service with MRC due to it weeping. They charged an hours labour, but this was on top of quite a lot of other work so not sure of the actual number of hours required... Probably worth getting it checked/sorted along with a gearbox service to make sure ...

2003 RS6 Saloon, Mugello Blue - priced to sell
Hi, we regretfully have our 2003 RS6 Saloon for sale with ~76.5k miles in Mugello Blue and full black leather interior. Same owner for >3 years, extremely well maintained and regularly cleaned/polished inside and out. All the common RS6 weak points have been addressed (DRC/Gearbox/Leaking intercoole...

Have a look at this web page, it outlines your consumer rights in this situation: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Governmentcitizensandrights/Consumerrights/DG_183047 The key paragraph under trade sales is: The car should also be reasonably fit for any normal purpose, which means it should get you from ...

Re: RS6 zorts
Interesting... What does the end result sound like, any increased resonance/boominess through the rev range (e.g. motorway speeds)? Always thought it would be good to get a swappable mid section that you could interchange for noise/stealth. Just got set of s/s pipes to replace just the middle boxes....

42-55 sounds a reasonable price for a dealer fit. i read somewhere the parts are about 18 quid. I just installed ISOFIX into our 6, cost was £47 for the brackets and around £3 for the bolts so £50 per side. That was from Hatfield Audi, so looks like part prices have gone up slightly. Took 5 mins to...

3 years and 30k with ours, the best car I've ever owned. Had the usual RS6 quirks: DRC -> H&Rs Gearbox replaced Rear diff replaced Leaky intercoolers Oil cooler pipe leaks sorted New front brake caliper after a bleed nipple corroded and stripped the thread Front upper control arms replaced (massivel...

RE: any ideas on stereo problem?
Was the engine running? I know several cars restrict volume when running on battery to conserve power.

Mine went on the way back from the Le Mans Classic this year... I noticed earlier in the day that we had stopped in 36 degree heat with the a/c on full, sat nav and phones charging and the dash reading was only 12v at idle. Set off and the reading crept back up to ~13.5v when travelling, but then ab...
