RE: Central locking pump repair.

It would be worth a call Phil. I had a good chat with him when he was doing mine and I think I remember him mentioning someone with a similar problem, but I can't remember the detail.

Central locking pump repair.

My central locking stopped working a few weeks ago. I could still hear the motor whirring, but the doors wouldn't lock/unlock. After doing some research it turned out to be likely that rather than a leak that the graphite impellor had probably brocken up. I didn't want/couldn't afford to pay the £££...

RE: Re: RE: ABS WARNING LIGHT

Hi guys it will be interesting to see if Lee is able to fix this. Just had my ABS ecu, with the standard ABS and brake (!) warning fault, repaired by BBA Reman. Normally they charge £499 for an exchange unit, but they will now repair your own unit for £220 (Another guy on Ebay will also repair your ...

Thanks Simon

LOL Daz

Actually I could have thought about something creative if I had realised it was going to be an issue. Maybe I should take a job as a paperboy or something.

Redundancy and insurance (bit long sorry....).

Hi, I got made redundant a little while ago and to be honest have been enjoying a little holiday with quality time with the wife and kids and time to go to the gym which I never seemed to have before. I'm back on the job search front now and have had a couple of interviews this week, so hopefully wi...

JeffW mentioned http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk/ a while ago. They are in Camberley. I thought about taking a quick trip out to see them when I was working in Frimley, but never got round to it. Prices look pretty reasonable at about £50 for a power check.

Sorry chaps bit pre-occupied as I have been made redundant recently. 99 Noggy saloon with black leather/blue alacantra, BOSE, sunroof etc. Had it 3 years and put 50K miles on it taking it to its current 93K. Bog standard, currently with flashing ABS warning, must get that sorted...... Was going to p...

Possible power steering fluid leak.

When unloading the car in the rain today I noticed that I seem to have been leaving an oily tyre track behind me. It appears to be from the front nearside tyre. I checked the power steering fluid and it is perhaps a little low. Thinking about it I have noticed a few new creaks and groans when manoeu...

Interesting thread. Just when you though you understood things.... Thought what was needed was cambelt, tensioner (Roller? And I have only been charged for one...not two) and to be safe water pump (except mine was knackered anyway) + the v belt However it seems to be really safe you should consider ...

jonno1, Things don't seem as simple as I imagined. Re your Fontain quote: What is the description for the 078109479E £80.26?, this wasn't changed when mine was done. Reading Audi also changed the 078109243R £29.45, but not the 078109244H £29.43. The water pump (which was changed) was 078121006A whic...
