Movit brakes in the wet

Lately I've being noticing that when its really wet on the roads (normally motorway driving with loads of fine spray) the brake pedal becomes much harder and requires much more force than normal to bite, not sure if this is the characteristic of the movit discs and pads or its something else. Personally I think that premium seems pretty fair. You can but shop around, but i'd be surprised if you could find a premium significantly lower.

How much to insure your RS4?

Just wanted to see how much everyone else pays to insure the RS4 I pay £745.80 (adrian flux) Car is modified: Movit Brakes, MTM remap to 458bhp, Miltek exhaust, short shifter. Very Hard Brake Pedal

I have been out today in the pouring rain, loads of standing water / floods. I noticed that the brake pedal went really hard, very little travel whatsoever, almost as if the pedal hard been pumped really hard. Has anyone else experienced this? Made me very nervous. plastic front grill

the centre low front plastic grill has broken clips and is loose. anyone know where i can get hold of a new one? The grill with the spot lights seem to be fine.

i know what you mean, i was not happy about parting with 1k for front discs, but the rear movit disc had been replaced recently by the previous owner.

i can't see why there so bloody expensive, its not as if there ceramic!!

Movit Brakes and Warning light

I'm running movit brakes and i have replaced the front discs as they were shot. I also replaced the pads, since then the disc brake warning light bleeps and stay on everytime I start the engine.

Is this down to the sensors? How can I switch it off?

as neckarsulm says, try grizz in Neston, Wirral area, he has vagcom and there is also a rolling road just round the corner if you want to be bang on (www.dynodemon.co.uk)

grizz is on the forum, just sorted my car out.
