Sorry for the hijack. My car is booked in at Prestige wheels in Stockport in a weeks time. Its booked in to have the wheels brought back to OEM spec and therefore keep the diamond finish. The other option I am considering is just to have them finished in one colour and then making any future repairs...

Resurrecting this thread as i need new front pads. Audi want £389 plus fitting . I use my car for road use only, can anybody point me to a decent set of aftermarket pads?

I have the supersprint x-pipe on my car. It i an improvement over the standard sports exhaust but i do get a bit of drone between 1600-2000rpm but nothing major. All things considered for the money it is well worth it.

i think they look mega! What colour are the wheels?

Yes, spaced 10mm front and 12mm rear. Lowered around 15-20mm on H&R springs. There is a supersprint x-pipe on too.

I like what you have done and was thinking of doing something similar. It's an improvement over standard IMO.

Looking at the invoice, the only thing that looks like a part no is W.I.P No. 58169. The part description is AVCAB1 DUPLICATE SER

I've just bought a duplicate log book from my local dealer. It was circa £15. It is stamped by the dealer and has the vehicle details in it.

I have the boot buddy. It does the job very well but it is overpriced for what is essentially a plastic liner. The optional extensionn is very good for when the RS is in van mode, it really protects the seats well. I use their non slip liner as the bumper protection and it works very well.

I have changed the silver trim to matt black by wrapping it. It was circa £300. The only issue I have had is that the roof bars mark the rails so I have double wrapped the rails where they meet the bars. The wrapping had been on for 9k miles and looks like new.
