Okay whipped it back out today..I'm guessing there's not meant to be two gold coloured pins :roll: :x I'll get a new box ordered but one last question, does this box also control the aircon to some degree? Aircon switches on and can things moving when you select demist/upper vents etc but no air at ...

The pins that the plugs plug in to look perfect and shiny. Can you actually open up the unit? Car is away from me at the moment but can't remember if it was a sealed unit.

Been drying for a few days now and had it in the airing cupboard too
I'll keep trying a few more days but I think it may have had it

It works fine when you turn the key in the door to lock, when you unlock it just unlocks the drivers door but as soon as you put the key in the ignition you can unlock all the doors from the button on the drivers door. The remote fobs don't work at all

Okay all dried up but my central locking is still not working. Can I assume that the convenience has had it or would I need to pair the keys back up through vagcom?

Cheers.. after a bit of poking around it now seems to flow out fine BUT now appears to be leaking in through the pollen filter housing whilst testing the other bit! The aircon drain grommet... does it just lead straight out? If i poke it I don't seem to make much headway but if I put my finger in (ooo errr!) I can feel the crap in there but it does feel like it leads off to the left hand side?

Yup tis coming back up through the aircon gromet when I pour water down the skuttle zzz Central locking started playing up today too so just getting it sorted now. How do you remove the passenger seat>? I'd rather it was out so a mate who has a carpet cleaning business can get in there good over the...

Ah okay, so probably best to move the coolant bottle and poke it anyway. Once I get rid of the child for a few hours I'll crack on! Cheers for the help guys

Cheers guys! Yes have a Milltek so that could be the problem bilko1. Water runs away freely down the drain holes sean so fairly certain it's not that

Water in rear passenger footwell, few q's
Hi all! So I have the dreaded water in the footwell problem. The rear footwell must have had a good 2 inches deep or water and the front one is only damp on the left hand side. We have just moved house and the car has been parked on the drive which has an incline. Not sure if this would cause it tho...
