I am also interested but again i'm in the south so a fair drive to get to Grizz. Need to weigh up the other prices and factor in the petrol / time to get the true cost.

I had the same issue with loss of power under acceleration followed by warning lights and battery light. Recovered to Audi who initially diagnosed battery fault (£320) and then just as I was due to pick it up they claimed alternator needed changing (£1000)!

Inchcape offer an A and B warranty. Make sure you have the most comprehensive one (I think this is the B).

Update

I now have the car back and it seems to be running fine. Not only did Audi decide to replace the battery but at the last minute they decided it needed a new alternator (£1000) at the same time..... Luckily the insurance company have picked up the bill.

Loss of power while accelerating

Would appreciate some thoughts on this problem. Get my car back yesterday after it was stolen fully repaired and good as "new". Been to Audi for a full health check (engine, brakes, suspension etc) and they passed it as having no problems. Picked it up from the insurance people and drove it 25 miles v...

Well I have an update on my missing car. I found out last night that it has been recovered. About 10.30pm it was seen in suspicious circumstances and a member of the public called the police.(the plates had not been changed) There were 4 masked men in the car and it appears they were just about to r...

WARNING - Maidenhead Area!!

I had the misfortune of having my RS6 Avant stolen last night from my drive in Maidenhead. The car was parked next to another on the drive with another car blocking both of them in. At around 1.30am two masked thieves broke into the mercedes that was blocking the drive and pushed it out of the way. ...

I would advise you to check whether the Inchcape warranty is the A or B plan. I bought my car from an Audi dealer and extended the warranty for a further 2 years with the Inchcape Car Care Plan. Foolishly I assumed they would sell me a suitable warranty for an RS6 but only much later when I had a cl...
