lack of power

finally got round to rolling road and suprise suprise 274 bhp ,guy could not finf anything specific ,fuelling ok ect so said maybe cats melted, just b ooked car in with mcr, so will see as they reacon its all down to build up on the valves and blocked valve flaps, i hope that is all it is ,will keep...

not lately .its always been to main dealer and they say every time no faults but it cant be right it drives like a peice of crap

mines missing inacceleration before 3400 let alone 5000,has anuone had problems with injectors? feels like holding back/no fuel

down on power

right i listened to the main stealer and was not prepared to pay their prices so fitted new plugs new coils and tried it again still falls flat above 3k rpm so checked air box flap and it was sticking so i took it out and retried still no better ,this car has been the biggest bag of crap ive ever ow...

Agree with all above - the car's fantastic. We too often concentrate on the negatives (or spend hours arguing whether something is even negative at all...) does the DRC problem reocur with new parts? sorry the problem is intermitant,i suppose this is why they cant find it ,it seems worse first thing in the morning when warming up ,but what can you say when it has gone back in several times and they say nothing wrong because they are not going fast enough to have the problem, i know its a mechani...

the car is bog standard no alterations ,it seems to get up and go till you get to 3800 to 4000 rpm the goes flat like the cam timing is not advancing or valves opening ,i would have took it back again but 1 they havnt been able to fix it yet and 2 it is now just out of warrenty it seems i was fobbed...

poor performance

had mine 2 years now and its been in and out of stealers several times for same prob which has never been cured, it accelerates up to about 3800 rpm then seems to hold back and not go as it should ,problem apart from that is it means you are going over 70mph in top so they say no problem as you at n...

just had suspension replaced under warrenty but it seems to sit higher at the front now ,does anyone know ride height with superpsport suspension? seems to be 25mm higher at front

Thanks for for the responses guys, much appreciated. Audi Assist guy thought one cylinder was down, dealer staff suspected coil-pack issues. I'm still awaiting a reponse from the Technician so I'll update you later. Seems that it's a fairly common problem and nothing too much to worry about. Shame ...

car just back from dealership minus 1/2 tank of fuel , will take out tonight and give good thrash , i intend to put on rollers as i dont believe this has got 400 plus bhp , and its not because of smooth delivery and all the other explanations i just think it is not what they say ,will keep informed

just got car back they have changed maf but i dont think thats the prob as it was running lean on one bank and as maf feeds both i think theres a air leak maybe will have to see
