Who did you speak to at VAGParts ? The S2 ones are black rubber, but so are the RS2 ones aren't they ? You still have to spray them....I'll take some photo's soon.

I used S2 Avant ones on mine. They are a lot cheaper - about £120 for complete set (4 doors & front & rear wings). The RS2 ones are a few mm thicker but you don't really notice the difference.

I just asked Carole Nash for a classic policy quote & they said the car wasn't old enough. How did you manage to do it Robo ? Are you using your NCB on the classic policy ?

Sounds like you got a bargain. I wish they spec'd the RHD cars the same as LHD - electronic climate, heated seats....

This is what Porsche recommend, i.e. dry fitting. I didn't use any grease when I refurbished my calipers at Greg's garage meet. No problems with squealing or sticking since.

Design911 must have dropped their price. I got some yesterday for £3.95+VAT each & spent today getting the calipers resprayed. See here for the results. :wink:
