Would be interesting to see how the front end accommodated the massive overhang.

I've just done the clutch on an S4. My procedure was as follows: I unbolted the subframe at the rear, catalysts-to-exhaust, prop and driveshafts. The rear dropped low enough to get to ALL the bellhousing bolts, from underneath (I use a lift). I undid the crank sensor, and hung it out of the way, un...

Will be interesting to see how the front end turned out.

I have no doubt the motor was running fine, just curious to see how the cosmetics went.

I've just bought one too - a '94 100 S4 Avant auto, in Emerald green.

Am currently considering converting her to 6 speed manual, so on the look out for tranny, linkage, driveshafts and possibly propshaft.
I have a supply of single-mass flywheels, so no issues there.

Interesting stuff.

I've just become the proud owner of a '94 UrS4 Avant, runs fine, but will be looking into this remote set-up in the near future.

How much will this set me back?

That splitter makes the car look mean as hell! :D

A top mod, for little money too. 8)

Only aspect I'm not keen on is the non-OEM headlamps. :?

RE: Single-Mass Flywheel Conversion

A friend just bought one off me, for a '98 2,8 30V A4 quattro. They're obviously dual-mass as standard, with a solid hub clutch friction disc. It's now running a single-mass flywheel, but still with an OEM solid clutch disc, and doesn't feel different from stoc. Pedal bites a bit lower, and the take...

Single-Mass Flywheel Conversion

Hi guys, Just trying to get some feedback on what kind of clutches you run when going from dual-mass to single-mass flywheel. Obviously, the OEM clutch friction disc has a solid hub, as the dual-mass flywheel is sprung. Some users still prefer to run an OEM solid hub clutch friction disc, whilst som...

Audi won't accept parts that were purchased from VAGPARTS, they won't even accept if they were purchased from another Audi franchise.
