Yes... the b5 chassis has the same problems with the passenger seat and the ABS light coming on. There are connectors underneath the seat and you can take them apart to inspect them. I have the same sat nav in mine pegbox... Sits between the handbrake and to the left of the drivers seat and the display is in between the speedo/revs...

I went and got a replacement MAF today... Its all fitted but i never had time today to take some logs. I will try and take some tomorrow... weather permitting of course...

I am just back from a weekend in Edinburgh with the MAF still disconnected for the journey. I connected it back up so i could run a scan. There were no fault codes at all. Okay guys... Regarding the new MAF. I disconnected the MAF for 4 days and have done around 100 miles with it disconnected. The car has run perfectly and seems to be running better than with the MAF connected. I then connected my Maf back up so i could connect Vagcom to run a scan and found nothing. ...

Well i have just removed the FPR for cleaning the filter and there was nothing there. It was totally clean. It was a bit of a bugger to get back on but at least it was clean.
