I can confirm this is normal for the "proper" Quattro system i.e. not the haldex. That said, it might do it to, I've never had one. Everyone of my 4 cars has done this i.e. B5 S4, B5 RS4, B7 RS4 and B8 RS4. If we're talking about the same judder/scrubbing, it is most noticeable full lock both forwar...
I find there's a massive difference between the settings. I only use comfort when transporting my granny! The Dynamic mode, while stiff, isn't harsh, I've only used it occasionally if going for a particular spirited drive on a relatively smooth road. I find the standard setting is pretty much spot o...
Re the brakes I have the tyres, maintenance and service package which Audi UK pay for anything and everything - if its not right. So the brakes became noisy (I wasn't using the car enough or being hard enough on the brakes) The dealership tried replacing the pads - didn't work then magically measure...

I too finally got my exhaust tips replaced. Like Simon 82 I had numerous discussions with Audi customer services. They "empower" the dealerships to handle such issues, i.e. the dealership decides how much they value your custom. Mine were replaced under "good will" i.e. at the dealership's expense. ...
Same problem here, My car is not quite a year old. They started going after only 4months. I took it to my dealer today who are very good, but their hands are tied. He showed me a technical bulletin Audi have released on this issue. The last sentence of the bulletin stated warranty and good will be r...
Cheers for the comments - I wasn't sure what price to put it up for. Looking around the prices vary quite significantly but then I've seen a few lower millage examples that are not as good nick and need some money spent on them. So I'll see how it goes. I should have put it up for sale near 6months ...
I've still got my B7 and the new B8. I'm a bit ashamed to say I just haven't found the time to advertise it - that's nearly 6 months! :bash: Its finally up for sale though. Its nice to drive them back to back from time to time. They are such different creatures to the point the B7 easily holds its o...
Sorry to take this off topic, but what is the Brembo upgrade? As far as I can tell from the photo, that caliper and disk is identical to the calipers on my B7 (other than its yellow). Which is no surprise as the stock caliper is made by Brembo.
but NI just doesn't have the same "stringent" rules as the uk so I'm less comfortable. Will probably pass. Thanks anyway N. Ireland is still part of the UK last time I looked! And still falls under everything that comes out of Westminster and Brussels as well for that matter. Yup as Barrbudden says...
