new tryes replaced, do you need Audi to reset tyre monitor?

I'm just curious as i've been told by my local Audi dealer that Once tyres are fitted the tyre monitor system will need to be checked and reset this will cost £60.37 inclusive of vat. So that made me wondering that like for an example,if i go to kwik fit to have four new tryes replaced, Do i go to A...

The sticker will be either in service book or on the boot floor which you will find it if you lift the boot carpet.

Just to let people know most dealers will supply these wheels at between 330 and 384 including the sensor valve and the sensor, following some useful info given to me by some kind people on here the sensor is around 50 and the valve around 10. ...

You can look for paint code in your service book, the white vehicle data sticker or look inside your rear boot floor, under the carpet you will see white label sticker which is vehicle data sticker which will have the paint code.
