Interesting little fact from a well known tuner. The initial RS2 run 'disappointed' some owners so the standard map was tweaked to improve BHP/torque. IIRC mine on a hot day was 315/338

Worth getting the car sorted re rich running before a remap. Check for a boost leak. They all run rich on the stock map. What mpg are you getting ? I would only allow MRC in Banbury remap an RS2. Mine needed two aux & two main in my ownership. I would lose the auxilllary if I were in that situation again. Never heard a negative experience over at S2 forum or here

It is the old problem of galvanisation build distorting the brake pad backing plate leading to them failing to disengage from the disc fully. It needs them to be stripped down, backing plate removal, galvanisation removal then treatment to re seal (not just lots of grease) new backing plate & re ass...
