Re: My S3 needs a service

Thanks guys. Well I kinda thought I would just use Whites as they are localish, but now it seems making the effort to go down the motorway will be a good idea. Re: the coils packs in your other post Dunc, did they offer to replace them or did have to ask ? The reason I ask is because I mentioned thi...

My S3 needs a service

Options are Ridgeway in Newbury or Whites in Camberley. I have never heard a bad word said about Ridgeway but they are quite a fair bit further away and more expensive. Has anyone got an opinion or view as to why I shouldn't use Whites and should make the extra effort to go to Ridgeway or are Whites...

Re: S3 Fuel Consumption?

I can beat that I 'babied' my S3 home down about 25 miles of motorway at 55 mph in order to get to my Shell garage. DIS read 0 miles about 2 miles before I got there When I filled up the DIS read 525 miles, I was so shocked...

Re: tyre size for s3 18" wheels

Dean used to have 255/35/18's and I don't know if it was because of just this but he managed to bend 3 RSTT's

Re: Remaps

If you are looking to put software on and forget it the standard remap will do, or standard remap with an SPS 1 or 2. I or someone else who works for Revo is usually at events and trackdays anyway, so if you wanted to have your car “dialled in” there is no need to buy a switch, we can do it for you...

Re: Remaps

If you are feeling generous, fancy letting Simon plug in VAG COM to log your car?
Ah, I was hoping someone would bring a VAG-COM.
I've got a service due imminently so it would be good to know what was showing, pre-warned is pre-armed and all that

Re: Remaps

You will find some people will swear by a certain tuner as if it was their own company and slag everyone else off at the same time, and at the end of the day its up to u if u can believe all the hype or read between the lines. Yeah this can be a problem. As I said above I know this can be and emoti...

Spent a while on here last night going through stuff before posting because I know this can be an emotive subject and I didn't want to start my first thread by p*ssing people off, I read the above here Again Fog...

Re: Remaps

So I guess I'll do the wait thing then. Problem is I've had the car 18 months now so I've probably waited too long really to get the most benefit from a chip because I'm guessing I'll want a new car when this one is 2/3 years old. I only did this because I was concerned about invalidating the warran...
