The pipes i had fitted were probably one of the best bits of money i have spent on the car. It sounds so much better now with the valves open than it did before and still nice and respectable with the valves closed. I would whole heartedly recommend this mod!!

There looks very little in the way of silencing there, I assume in comfort mode it is not too loud? Does it drone at all? I have the OEM sports exhaust with the centre resonator delete pipes fitted and it sounds good, but could do with being a bit louder.

I bought the pipes on eBay for £2xx and it cost me £40 to a friend to fit them. Money very well spent, I would not hesitate to do it again.

Ok so how did you connect the orange wires into the loom? Also if you have you MMI set to auto does it not let the car system work the valves as per normal? Is it not only when you force the valves to be open all the time with the traction control button that you have that problem?

I’m just looking at getting one for my car at the moment. I will also fit the Cete valve control unit that I have had sat here four the last 6 months at the same time. So long as it doesn’t drone I will be happy.

I still haven't actually fitted mine yet so can't give you an answer to that yet unfortunately

yes in dynamic mode it seems to open a valve and make the exhaust louder, but it does seem to change again after 4K rpm again. I do wonder if it is to combat drone, i will find out when i finally get my valve control unit fitted.
