I quite like the look of them, but I just can't get my head around the price and lack of standard options. If I spec one up on the Audi configurator, with similar kit to that on my RS4 (19" wheels, sat-nav/tv, bucket seats, magnetic ride in lieu of DRC, etc) it comes out to nearly the same cost - £5...

Take the A9 south. Can't remember how far, about 20 - 25 miles past Inverness and then take the A938, through Carrbridge, towards Granton on Spey, Join the A95 for a short while, skirt the edge of Granton and soon after crossing the bridge turn right and take the A939 through Tomintoul to Ballater....

For a main dealer, that sounds about the right sort of price.

My best was 12.7 at GTi International last year. Most runs were high 12's to low 13's.

Average for the last 30k is 17mpg. Down to about 11-13mpg for a spirited drive home from work. I don't commute in traffic, and I'm never on motorways.

RE: B7 RS4 Clutch Problem

I'm having more and more clutch issues at the moment, and I'm not sure it's worth starting another thread, but can anyone help? The bite point on the thing has become really short, un-progressive, and all the way down to the floor when the thing is cold. So far I've had the master and slave cylinder...

Jim I've never seen any hubcentrics less than 8mm, only lugcentric - which wobble. I thought it was ...

RE: B7 RS4 Clutch Problem

I'm having simliar issues with mine at the moment. Apparently it was the clutch master and slave cylinders, although it was returned to me broken and still with a clutch that felt like an on/off switch. They're now looking to replace switches and pedal boxes. If it's feeling like you need to mash th...

Mmmm, reading that has got me thinking. Would there be any gains in isolating the intake power flap, in a similar way to the exhaust flap mod? Might make for a tastier intake roar.

Have seen the R8 about town but not the RS4 - will keep an eye out. Likewise, I've seen the R8 a few times round here but I've not seen that RS4! I'll be sure and give you a wee wave if I do (with the windows down to hear the rumble) I use the PB guys out in Kintore to keep mine clean. They d...
