Just for the record car been in - new front brake pads, and knocking from suspension which mysteriously stopped just before hand. No mention anywhere of the exhaust valves being disconnected...

RS4 going for service - reconnect exhaust valves ?

Hi Guys,

The Car going in for some work, was wondering if I should bother to reconnect the exhaust valves ? Will they say some b/s about it invalidating the warranty etc. ?

Any thoughts

I have the same issue on my RS4 avant, with the suspension knocking over a bump on the way down, was thinking of getting it checked but havent got round to it yet, would be interested to hear what your outcome is. thanks

Also got a red one (avant) no regrets at all, just wanted to get away from black and silver for a change, would have gone for white if I could have found one though... as above go for the colour you like the car is great

had mine since saturday and can confirm you are in for a treat, took it out in the wet last night first time and was amazed how much grip it has and how effortlessly it puts the power down, as an all rounder in all weathers at this price level it has no equal, and that engine.... you wont forget the...

Unfortunately bought the car in yorkshire and I am in essex so will have to take to the local dealer, was just wondering if it could be something like a loose connection thats easily done - but will give it to my loacal dealer to sort under warranty..

Newbie - tyre pressure sensor help plse

Hi all, took delivery of my rs4 avant saturday (misano red 56 plate) and so far im very impressed... One small problem, the tyre pressure monitor is showing that there is a fault (not losing pressure but that the sensors are not working) does anyone know if this is something I can look at or does it...
