Re: Towing confusion - DRC, Dynamic Pack, Air
I'm aware that to tow legally, I'll need one with air suspension, however I'm getting a bit confused with Dynamic pack and DRC when I'm looking at cars. It's not just the type approval to tow that the DRC cars don't have.... The DRC gubbins occupies the area where the tow bar attaches to the chasis...

Re: 20 inch wheels
The standard fit wheels for the C7 RS6 were 20” and the OEM 20’s fit over the steel or ceramic brakes. Cheers mate. Sorry for sounding dumb. Most who I've asked had no clue and I wasn't sure as mine came with the OEM 21s. I assume there was no change in wheel size from C7 to C7.5? No change in whee...

Re: Roofboxes
Just fitted Thule Vector 430L roof box on wing bar edge rack. Looks really nice - colour scheme works too. I’d be interested to know how you get on with the roof box at speed. Due to the lightweight (but strong) construction of my roof box the nose gets a little flappy; although it is clear there i...

Not a C8, but this is the Thule Vector 430L on wing bar edge roof rack.
Got it from roof-bars.co.uk. Fantastic customer services.

Re: Carwow rs6 generation race
As an owner of a stock (560PS) C7 I was very pleased to see “old tech” giving the new boy a good fight, despite being 40PS down. It’s disappointing that CarWow got the stats wrong at the beginning of the video, but it would have probably been even more embarrassing (for Audi) if it was a C7 performa...

Re: Really torn on 20's
I have both the 20's and the 21's The 20's have my winter tyres on them and I love the ride and the look. Very comfortable "family" set up. The 21's had (until a month ago) the factory fit Dunlops. In my opinion they are a really poor tyre. The car feels really heavy (even in comfort) and grip is ma...

Re: Bang!
May be hard but try and get a pic of the pot hole you can claim the costs back. Saldy I don't fancy hanging out in the outside lane of the M4 to get a picture. I have however been in touch with Highways England and given them a description of the location, along with pictures of the damage. They wa...

Re: Bang!
If I were you I would brought car to a dealer for full inspection of all other cars components as they can be also deformed, I remember when i hit a hidden pot hole on a road (it was covered with water so I couldn’t see) with my 335i after i got damaged both rims passengers side front and rear righ...

Wheel is already off the car and my winter set are on.
No sign of damage to the inside at all, which I was surprised by.

I know they are good tyres... I have them on my RS6!
I was just surprised at how much more expensive they were for the 21" wheel compared to the 20"
