Found a guy on an LPG forum who did converted an S6 about 5 yrs ago apparently, PM'd him with a few questions, so if he gets back I'll let you know what he says. I'm itching to get a glowing report.....

Hi Andy - I'm sure you won't regret buying an S6 if you can find the right one. I've been trying to find out from someone who's done an LPG conversion on an S6 myself but no luck so far. There's no doubt that it would make a big difference to the fuel bill although it could then be tempting to use ...

I'm from Darlington - the names Andy - and I'm mightily tempted by an S6 at the moment. Just trying to make my mind up......but toying with getting one LPG'd so as to feel a little better when I fill it up.....

Still struggling to find even lame excuses to drive mine so I am still running it in :( can't wait....
I've not even got my hands on mine yet, but I've got a good few pages of lame excuses. Gonna have to try not to exhaust those in the first few days.....

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Only 371BHP!

Perhaps you guys could provide some acceleration numbers (i.e. something similar to FATS ???). Most of us know that RR's are bollocks and for cock waving rights only. Real world performance is what counts - so do some in gear times or get it down to the drag strip. What about 3rd gear 4500K - 8000K...

If you want to see praying for traction, imagine a Focus ST with a tuned 287BHP try a 0-60 run in slightly damp conditions...... But back on topic, I can see the RS4 being the perfect fast car for this country, with it's distinct lack of sun so far this year, I'd rather have all round traction all y...

Newbie to be

Hi, picking my RS4 up this week whenever I can get out of work - a Mugello Blue 4 door with as much kit as could be stuck into it.

Just want to say hi, and hope to enjoy using this place as much as the Pug forum for my other car.

Cheers

Andy
