Well folks the good news is it is all fixed and back on the road. New welded section, had both flexi's done, work guaranteed for 3yrs by well know exhaust firm in/ nearr Reigate c£600 for both to be done. So i have been doing some research. Seems there is a company in Reigate whom have done this sort of thing before (firm called Mr Exhaust)- going to give them a try. Will keep you posted as to the outcome/ results

Ok latest update, the car is being repaired by insurance Co after i said i wanted the car back to take to another repair who had indicated a cheaper quote by some £2-3k. Made it pretty clear i thought they were trying to rip off the other parties insurance Co. But given what has been said above this...

Appreciate all the replies. Admiral are being very helpful willing g to take car to any garage. Insurance quote was done in Gloucestershire and all the garages I have used are in around London. E.g. rac automotive, Audi camberley. Evidently with higher labour rates than here in gloucestershire. That...

Ok Quick and dirty wife was shunted from behind, point of impact was passanger side rear, over exhaust. Car drove fine for the rest of jorney circa 30-40miles. Damage looked cosmetic. Hello all. Saturday night wife got shunted in the back by a sh1t box. Good news no one injured. Cosmetic damage to rear bumped. Some probs now with mis aligned parking sensor and one exhaust pipe knocked one inch lower than otherwise side. Hopefully just bent. Anyhow engine management light came on ...

Namely a headlight dial switch (4B2 941 531 E)- couple of leds have died in my unit. Looked inside the switch barrel - looks far too fiddily to replace leds Is anyone on here aware of any rs6's at the breakers being stripped for parts. Otherwise i will need to pay a visit to the dealers parts dept. ...
