The immobilized software is in the ECU. I have got around this by replacing the EPROMS with a none immobiized set.

NB A very cheap way of getting an extra 65 BHP + massively improved torque.

I have bought some EPROM's with a different map which is estimated to take the car to 380BHP, but the problem is my ECU is the immobilised version and these will not work in it. As expected, it starts, runs for 2 second and then stops! Is it possible to have the ECU chipped like you can on an Xbox s...

Yes, it was bought from Grimsby Audi. The issue was a vacuum leak on one of the small hoses.

Wit some help I've pulled the codes using VAGCOM and it came up as the lambda probe and the mixture. These have now been cleared and the car is now perfect!
