My car had peak at 1,4bar and hold 0,9-0,95bar at 7000rpm in standard trim. The biggest problem to engine internals are peak pressure (@ peak torque) and rev limit. I forgot the noise.
If you are running on conical filter, you could hear a ciclical noise when you release the throttle. Like
"TTCCHHIII. . .TThhiii...tthhii...thchi..." Like a normal discharge noise plus echoes of it in lower volume.

Sometimes, depending on how you apply power and at which rpm and load, you'll have peak boost but it cant hold it. And the other problem is overspeeding the turbo, cause the ECU tries to hold the boost up.
