Re: RE: Should I be cra**ing it as much as I am!

i agree with you Shane, i think if you come to the rs4 from a everyday quick car or a modded s4 it could feel somewhat 'normal' i can't relate to this as i came from a diesel however, having driven a mapped car the difference is night and day. I have to admit, I came from a 987 Boxster S (280bhp) a...

518lb ft!! That's monstrous and very awesome! Nice one. How much did it cost to have it rolling roaded?

RE: Re: RE: Which Tyres?

The Audi garage I bought my car from put Pirellis on which made the car tramline unbelievably badly. I was loath to change them as I'd only racked up a couple of thousand miles on them but I did - for Goodyear Eagle F1s. Soooo glad i did - totally transformed the car. Avoid Pirellis on a B5 RS4 like...

60k. The clutch felt fine but the extra power exposed a bit of slippage so it was changed. Clutch pedal is much lighter now which is good - especially for the wife!

RE: Re: RE: any good (fantasy of course!) road races?

Had a couple of tussles on my way back from MRC... Notably a White Gallardo which I was gaining on - surely he was in the wrong gear or was just a bad driver?! Also a Focus RS which must have been tuned and was admirably quick but which I left standing time and time again - he would not give up! Som...

RE: Re: RE: what to do to achieve 450/460BHP

Took mine to MRC for a Miltek cat-back, gutted pre-cats and custom remap. I also had a new clutch, H&R anti-roll bars and Tanoga short shift fitted... Gave my wallet a hard time but I now have 450-460bhp which is awesome. Throttle response has improved and it's more tractable at lower revs. Would hi...

Doug did 3.3 to 60 in the wet at GTI international in his S4! 550bhp A customers 460bhp RS4 with pole positions did 3.99 the same day. Lucas, what mods was he running for his 460bhp? P.S.
