RS4 B5 Sidelight Bulb Holder
I have a broken passenger side sidelight bulb holder, and the dealer is telling me they cant order the bulb holder on its own, only a complete headlamp assembly. Does anyone know of a part number for the bulb holder on its own that I can wave under dealers nose or maybe source independently online(?...

iConnection iPod Adaptor
Anyone got one of these adaptors installed yet? Its main selling point is that it allows you to retain the use of the existing CD Changer (useful for example when the iPod isnt in the car) as well as control & charge the iPod. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Audi-iPod-interface-A3-A4-A6-A8-S3-S4-S6-T...

I have both and I love both....as has been said they are different cars for different roads/days/moods. Both are excellent at what they do and owners of either should be respected for having made a good enthusiasts choice (rather than putting brown flip paint, spoilers and an RS4 badge on an A4 Cabr...

RE: Wont Start
Thanks, RAC guy came out and diagnosed a knackered fuel pump, couldnt get it going at all, despite proving it had power ok, so car came home on a trailer. Handy enough that it happened outside my local inn as it made for a very pleasant wait lol, shame its Easter and might take a few days to sort out.

Wont Start
Stopped for lunch, came out later and car wont start properly
starts as if on very low revs not enough to keep engine running, throttle has zero effect when pressed, i.e. no increase in revs. Engine then cuts out.
Almost sounds like it has immobilised itself...
Any ideas?
Thanks
David

Mine seems to drop very rapidly from Full to about 3/4 (like in about 30 miles) then more steadily from there downwards.

RE: Let the numbers speak
Mine's a 'Maybe' as in "Maybe, it will look good on the road" and not "Maybe I will buy one", well not a new one anyway, give it a few years and who knows.

and if the ban applies to Laser detectors such as that on the New Road Angel, then it can easily be disabled on the Road Angel by the owner from the menus, or Blackspot can send a firmware update to disable it permanently. This will leave the GPS-based functionality only and should therefore be 100%...

Its not that I really need it to find my way about, its just that I don't like having a toy that just says 'You are outside the digitized area'...
