Fitted the H&R lowering springs today

Fitted the H&R springs today, so can be done without disconnecting the DRC very fiddly and took all day but worth it looks and feels so much better :) will post a few pics later.

If you don't mind me asking, how much were the springs? PM me if you want.

Do you have any before and after pics. I think mine is a wee bit high so would be interested in this.

I fitted them, it was a pain in the ass but got it done.

Heres a few pics of me removing the old springs and fitting the H&R ones, i will post some after pics later as i haven't taken any yet just been enjoying driving it to much :biggrin3:

You have to compress the spring before removing the strut be very careful not to damage the DRC hose as it gets very tight when your pulling the strut out, the spring commpressor i bought from halfords for £30 but i had to modify it by cutting the bolts down so that it would fit when the spring was compressed.

Now remove the top nut and remove the spring.

H&R spring, just commpress the spring slightly as you will not be able to get the top mount nut on, i just used one side as i couldn't get both on which just does it.
