I love cold weather, adjusted my revo settings via sps to boost 8, timing 6 this morning. outside temperature was 4 degrees...air con (well heater) was on..and over 3 runs over the same stretch of 'flat private road' I averaged 4.59 seconds for the fats run.

best run was 4.46 seconds:

Group A: 003

OK, as requested a while back, some RS4 figures (bear in mind the gear ratios are different, so it's not a direct comparison).

Stage 1 MRC = 3.58secs

time rpm maf wot timing
595.73 3200 117.03 100 25.5
596.33 3520 198.08 100 15
596.93 3960 227.5 100 7.5
597.55 4360 243.36 100 12
598.2 4800 273.83 100 15
598.87 5240 294.58 100 12.8
599.58 5720 314.58 100 15
600.31 6200 324.17 100 18
601.07 6600 348.72 100 21
601.82 7000 270.19 38.4 10.5

@Minhea, I need to get the turbos spooling up earlier - what do you suggest?

Nige.

Nige, here is the K03 info. I reckon it had around 350bhp.

Went to do this in my Stock S4 and discovered my MAF is totally dead... I mean not reading low... But DEAD! Zippo coming from it..... Swapped it for a spare and that was reading low so unplugged it and it ran better again...

Got an MTM chip to put in once Ive pressure tested the Intake system. Got Reconned KO3s new DVs etc, samco F pipe, so all should be good. Did a compression test on the engine last night. All cylinders were pretty much bang on 150 PSI .... Im pretty chuffed.... Ive also got a G-tech that I need to dog out, so I'll do some runs in that too.... Im interested to know how is compares to the little polos...;)

Did some times in my Std S4.... One I got was 6.9 with Me(90kg) boot of some stuff and half a tank.
Did another run at 6.4 on a slight downhill..... was 5degrees..... So it looks like its in keeping with the mods (ie none!). GOt an MTM chip to pop in, will be interesting to see what that does...

Discovered a *slight* boost leak (one way valve below F pipe is on order)so MTM chip is on hold (FREE PLUG!!!Thanks to MInhea at MRC for helping to diagnose that)...... Also did 2 more runs with 1/4 tank still 5 degs, this time got 6.5 and a 6.43!! Very pleased. Decat pipe to come shortly......

Well I ran my first FATS last night,
and I got a 7.5, not good

I have a ABT chip and max boost of 16psi, this is from my guage
no other mods.

I have a good TBB and replaced my BPV's last week, so all good there.
My MAF has failed, so I am running with it disconnected at the moment.

Minhea, do you have the Bosch units in stock???

I suspect that I have a big boost leak somewhere.
or something else really wrong.

My Requested Boost and Actual Boost are not close, see the VAG-Com log-
Here is what I am seeing with VAG-Com,
block 115
3rd gear run on the highway

RPM----Engine Load--Requested--Actual
2800---45.9---------950--------1050
