So I sold my B5 RS4 after 10 years of ownership in spring 2023. It was a fantastic car and I was very sorry to see it go, but I wasn't really using it all that much and the big issue was the availability of parts for the car, which meant that it was no longer practical to run as a daily vehicle, as if something went wrong as I (or my garage) could be waiting several weeks to source parts. Many parts were NLA from Audi so often the only options were second hand or after market parts.
Cue a year and a half later and I find myself with a new baby so could really do with a large estate car again. Also, having been out of the RS game for 18 months now, find myself with a V10 itch that perhaps needs scratching.
I am well used to the running costs of a RS car, but realistically how much more in servicing/maintenance is the C6 RS6 going to be over my previous B5 RS4? Can any owners shed some light about what their car costs to service and maintain per year, averaged out over their ownership?
Also how is parts availability these days for the C6 RS6? Anyone have any problems yet or are new genuine parts still easily available?

suspension (DRC), brakes, coils/spark plugs and fuel are largest of expenditures... try and source the enthusiast owned vehicle to minimise the cost of ownership.
They are well built cars and with regular maint it should offer you a worry free motoring.

What?
Drc doesn't break once you have inspected a cable or 2 and have a fresh bit of fluids in there.
Servicing every 10k would be oil, filters and inspection. Spark plugs can go 20k.
Given some intricate problems of the c6 and assuming they have been attended to, there can be some higher expenditures
Brake pads on ceramics 1.5k to replace but last more than 50k kms
Coolant metal hose a bitch to replace without engine removal but has to be done.
Oil pump o-ring can be done w/o engine out.
If a lambda probe needs replacing, or oil is found in a coil pack, then unfortunately it's an engine out job to replace a few gaskets(along with the starter motor cable).
If these have been seen to, then the highest bill will be fuel and tyres.

Its the DRC pipework which is getting corroded after 10+ years which is the biggest DRC issue.
As for Maintenance, as per usual with anything RS - "everything" is a £1000 job by now give or take a bit
Parts are generally still about, a few speciality parts like those DRC pipes are getting harder to source but still about.

Yes forgot about the corrosion. I don't live in the UK anymore so nothing like that anymore, not even the coolant pipes

Firstly hi guys, been a long time since ive been on here, and yes the old gal is still running strong no matter how hard I push her 
If oil is found in coil recesses it can be done with engine in situ but is a bitch drivers side; much like a plug change drivers change, because of the fine oil separator being in the way, having done this drivers side engine in situ I know. Having also done this engine out yes its a damn sight easier, but does not justify the extra costs of seals and fluids to pull the engine to do so.
IMHO unless you are flush (or somewhat better off than me
, or are prepared to do a lot (or like me all) of the work yourself, an RS6 is not for you
