How many miles is too many miles?

Post by Goody » Thu Aug 10, 2023 8:16 pm

Hi All

Looking to buy my first RS4 and found what I think is a nice 63 plate car with 75,0000 miles. It looks to be in great condition and comes with a warranty from an Audio dealership.

Would be keen to hear what anyone's thoughts would be on this mileage and what problems I would expect to find. Have to say I'm a little nervous about the high mileage.

Appreciate any feedback.

Cheers
Mark

As ever, full history is essential for these cars, is it standard, any mods like suspension change ?.. the DRC can be troublesome with many swapping out the DRC for aftermarket otions mainly due to cost as the main driver.

Might be an idea to post up spec, service, and maintenance history. That way, you may receive more in-depth answers which should help you decide..the price is important too ?..

Cheers. S..

Thanks so much Stuart, I really appreciate your feedback. I have re-started this post in another thread. It was interesting with your comment about the DRC, there's an invoice in the service history for Bilstein coil overs back in 2018.

Cheers
Mark
