Not surprised to hear the build weeks are being pushed back... Good old AUDI.

any info on the power / torque over the standard RS6

Changes include bigger turbos which have been tuned for more boost pressure, resulting in 630hp and 850Nm of torque. That’s 30hp and 50Nm more than the standard cars.

Bargain for £15k extra...

This thread has gone rather quiet.

A few months back people had build weeks of 13 etc. for the perf but nobody has confirmed they are getting built yet. I haven't even seen one driven in a test so i doubt theyre even rolling off the line yet.

I honestly cannot fathom how sh!t Audi are are predicting builds and keeping customers up to date. Before I cancelled my RS6 order (and bought one from a dealer) my car had slipped over six months... If I ran my business like that I wouldn't last long.

Anyway - i honestly hope you guys get your perf soon.

Just had another email from my dealer.....still build week 24....so they recon July delivery, if this holds but cannot guarantee that

My R8 has lost its build week so they are waiting for it to go back in!

Bit sceptical, that rs6 performance video is online elsewhere( just search rs6 performance in YouTube), I also noted it was a left hand drive car, I guess time will tell

Mine went 16-13-19-18-17, currently sitting at b/w 17 hopefully turn to status 20 soon, which means locked in.

As I say - this is painful.

I don't know why we accept this nonsense.

We're talking about a £130k car. I want the bloke fitting the steering wheel to phone me when its done.

I bought a C7 A6 in 2016 and I got all of the details - 'today its in the paint Shop' - 'its now on the train' - 'at the port' etc etc. Now, years after covid we're supposed to accept this nonsense as the new norm.

I get there are supply chain issues but if you cant build the cars don't open the order book ffs.

Order placed for non perf edition in December, still can’t get a build week estimate/allocation.

Does that seem normal?

Probably... Maybe... I would have thought the non-perf cars would be all but built by now considering we are now in the build weeks for the Perfs. That being said I am yet to see a single road test etc so I cant imagine they're coming off the line yet...

Mind you - I bailed on my rs6 order after about 9 months when I was told it would be at least another 6. Even if you have a 'build week' its not worth anything.

Got an update email on 11th from Audi Uk, not the dealership, to say my car was in build, although no idea how long build could take!
