Had to buy the complete switch assy. Around £100 ish
Loads on eBay. But most of them are for LH drive vehicles.
At least they was when I was looking.
Failing that. Audi tradition. But they won’t ship to the uk.

What did the f125 switch cost. I presume you bought a new one. And where did you buy it from.
I might leave it for now if it’s £100. Every one I have seen so far is LHD

F125 cost £187.35 from my local garage who got it from TPS, this includes two new bolts as well. I’m sure they said £120 to me yesterday but hey ho.

Yes they are not cheap. But a new switch makes such a big difference to the interior.
As does the mirror switch.
Had a quick look on eBay. There are still a few climate control units with good buttons for sale. IMO at a very reasonable price.
Good luck with the search.

Essential if you own a Rs6.
First scan can be a bit daunting.
Clear all the errors. Use the car then rescan and see what comes back. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Ps. I just got a new cable. Didn’t get a manual or what looks like a storage stick.

Mine was similar to that, the storage stick has the Vag Com program installed.

I've noticed on ebay that there are various units with the same part number except the last 1 or 2 letters are different. If I was to buy one with a different part number at the end does it need coding in?

I just bought one for the buttons.
Removed the worn buttons and replaced them with the good buttons.
Takes a few mins. And you don’t have to remove the climate control unit or radio.

My climate is worn on the top edge, I'm wondering if I can replace the whole faceplate.

Hope everyone has had a nice Christmas.

Are the xenon headlights supposed to auto level? Mine face down really low and I can’t adjust them.

Yes, all Xenon systems are supposed to self-level, there is a sensor on the front suspension to measure the suspension compression & adjust the lamp angle, it can get dirty & stick or just plain break

The car is on coilovers done by a previous owner so I’m guessing that’s my problem?

The sensor is on the control arm from memory, so coil overs shouldn’t matter. (Mine is on coil overs too, still self levels)
