Except it’s not the right part number.

Yes, I get that, it was a follow on from “ O1L goes NLA, 01V…”

I’d very much like to know what the differences (if any) are and it lists the RS6 as being a suitable fitment (given the usual skeptical view of eBay accuracy, obviously)

If ya feel brave, go for it. I did it with the cam adjuster, another member did it on the rear brake cables and worked out another part number that fits our cars.

Worst case, you've fitted a part that doesn't work and you have to do it all again with the right part (I have been there before!).
Best case, you're worked out an alternate part and everyone benefits from the knowledge.

It might be worth buying two and opening one up to see what the inside is like, compared to an OEM one?
They can fairly easily be bolted back together with small bolts and nyloc nuts.

funny enough mine has been behaving for about a week now... although I still dont have reverse lights which means my pdc doesnt come on automatically.
