Best battery maintainer
Best battery maintainer
Hi, Now that the RS isn't getting used so much and the winter car is used more, i am looking to get a battery conditioner/maintainer. What are the best options out there? The car is garaged and still gets used occasionally so needs to be able to quickly disconnect the unit
Re: Best battery maintainer
Your probably going to get some very mixed replies to this, but I think it will all boil down to how much your willing to pay for the solution.
I bought mine 18 months ago and all the things you mention were on my mind, I decided on buying a MAYPOLE MP7423, it will cost around £24 delivered and so far for me I’ve used on 3 different vehicles and it’s been perfect.
Cracking piece of kick, very intuitive and plug and play and the trickle charger does the rest for you.

Thanks for the replies, I have gone for a CTEK MXS 5.0 due to it being able to re-sulphur the plates and potentially recover deeply discharged batteries
Re: Best battery maintainer
Actually thats exact one I have too, works very well indeed.
