I know of 2 below 30k miles go for bang on £30k so I spose it depends in the seller. Most over £30k haven't sold for months unless they are via OC's or Forums.

I am not buying another unless I can look the owner in the eye.

Ah - but Farnborough would sort that surely? And I was led to believe, negotiate on the price .... because they probably bought it for £24K!

Yes, but potentially doing that and the 40k service work meant they would not shift on price.

I am finding that a lot of garages tend to talk about pricing being fixed these days, with little room for negotiation. An extra years warranty might be possible

Well, if they do what's required, the amount of work at the 40K / 6 year service interval is ridiculous!

Mine's booked in for an Inspection service next week with oil, pollen filter, brake fluid, aircon recharge, DSG Oil change and front final drive oil change (circa £1,100). And that's before the £100 of new air filters, which I'm doing myself, then off to a specialist to sort out: a DRC check and oil change, Spark Plugs, Rear Diff Oil, Centre Final Drive Oil, Water Pump, fresh coolant and Auxiliary drive belt (circa £1,500). Thank god I bought it with decent tyres and a new battery!

Yes been around for a while, most of the £30k+ seem to be.

Mine didn’t....was gone within a week without even advertising!

Yes because I still don’t believe there were many better examples / age / mileage in current market. And of course, they’re mighty things.

No because it’s always good to try new stuff, I can’t accommodate 3 cars and the CSL is a keeper. Plus it’s gone to an enthusiast

You are talking retail price there though, for an Audi dealership to do your probably talking less than half.

Thing is if they did the lot they would probably sell the car quickly as that is what I would be thinking about, not shelling top money for the model then get stuck with a £3k service bill.

Obviously a very high spec and no doubt very desirable (to some) with the buckets and pan roof, but £35k is too much!

I was told this was mine by the previous owner for £28,500 then sold it to a dealer for £30,500 without even letting me outbid him.

Emailed the dealer last night said I would give him £31k and that I know what he bought it for.

He wants to get into it with me I will make sure the whole world knows what he paid for it.

No one will accept a 20% mark up!

Well most of those at that price just sit there even with 20K miles

I know people in the trade and they run about 6-7%, lower at the moment just to keep stock moving.

I may go to £32K if he gives a full 12 month Warranty MOT etc.
