It’s an affliction I know. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t a petrolhead....would have saved a ton of cash.
Up til yesterday it was going to be a part ex job and go for something more shouty. Back to a C7 RS6 (never got that out of my system), RS7 or maybe even an older R8. Having said that a current E63S or M5 mat be the ticket.
Anyhow why swap one car you don’t have a chance to drive for another? Head ruled heart so nothing once the 5 has gone and will shovel money away til later in the year and things are a it more open and see which way I want to go.
Brilliant car the RS5, it’s just too smooth for its own good as I’ve said before.

I learned to drive in a ‘Fender and they just stuck with me. Always wanted one and got a chance to get into a well looked after 110 XS Utility with a few bits on it (got a lot more on it now). You either ‘get’ Defenders or you don’t, they are either the coolest car on the road and you forgive the negatives (it rides like a bag of nails frankly) or it’s a farmers wagon that you should run a mile away from.
It’s a big boys toy, everyone lets you in at junctions, with all the bits on it’s like driving a movie action car and it puts a huge grin on my face. I just bounce down the road with lots of noise, can’t go fast (and hence no d1ckheads try and bait you like with a performance
Car) and life is great. Plus you can go almost anywhere off-road.
Love it to bits.
