I recently purchased my RS6. I have had many "cool" cars but the desire has always been to acquire this one in particular. I still have a Macan at home and I traded my brand new LR Velar P380 for a red monster.
I wish the more experienced could help me:
- 2015
- Only 12K KM
- All revisions every 6 months at Audi
- Tires and pads have already been changed by the former owner
- Full package, carbon, ceramic, alcantara ...
Questions:
- Should I change the differential and gearbox oil?
- In the morning, when I leave the garage after reversing, I can hear a "cloc cloc" just like something lose and the noise stops as soon as the car warms up - any suggestion of what it might be? I´ve read many thoughts about suspension, gearbox oil, s-tronic problems, quattro ...

Re: Newbie - Help needed RS6 2015
Possibly the exhaust flaps closing on the rear silencers.... car starts with them open on high idle tick-over. When the idle speed drops, the valve flaps close.

Awsome, I´ll take a look. It´s a very good bet for sure and makes sense!

Re: Newbie - Help needed RS6 2015
Hi Rafaelblu and welcome....
1. The diff and trans oil does not need changing at 12k.. From memory I think this is due at 40K miles....
2. Does the knock happen when the steering is on full lock only or does it happen when travelling straight? If on full lock, then this is normal and is to do with the tyres and geo... If when going straight then I would get this checked, do you have warranty?.
Is that image of your car? As it’s a pre-facelift and I thought all 2015 cars were facelift. But maybe a 2015 64 car could be pre-fl???
Cheers,
Lig.

1- Perfect, Audi dealer told me to change due 5 years not to km. That´s what I´m questioning
2- It´s happenning in the first meters after I reverse car from garage and enter on brick road where I live and came in the gearbox direction ... After a few minutes it doesn´t happen anymore!
No, car it´s not under warranty anymore. I had in the past DSG gearbox that did almost the same "noise" in the morning. That´s why I thought about gearbox oil change and diff (I bought car from a close friend, first owner and car was almost without use in the last couple years, 300km last 2 years).
And you´re right It´s 2014/2015 car without the face-lift. Probably just a few were produced on this spec ... Car was purchased 2014 nov.
Re: Newbie - Help needed RS6 2015
2014 cars Are awesome especially if bought at official Audi dealers with approved 101 program

I didn´t make any test again, but I found this https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthre ... lved/page2
Happens that, all 5 bolts were losen from my "Tower Brace" ... I just re-torque them to spec and I´ll try again tomorrow.
Central bolt was completely losen.
