Audi RS4 B5 2001. 67k miles.
Here is my stunning low mileage original RS4 in Avus silver and with 3 previous owners (two from the same family) from new.
With less than 200 estimated left in the UK, this car is now widely accepted as a modern classic and prices are only going in one direction for good examples. Low mileage and owner cars are now pretty much a rarity and more so ones in original condition and with no engine modifications, maps and adjustments, of which this is one. I would argue that this is the best available of its type in the UK right now and I have priced it based on advice from specialist dealers, enthusiasts, other adverts and collectors alike. Many of these cars available for sale are well over 100k and although yes they are more than able to deal with mileage, it’s a fact more issues will arise with them going forward.
If you’re looking at this advert and this type of car, then the chances are you know what you’re looking for. So, without spelling out the obvious details and what she can do, she has had all the major and expensive jobs recently done without compromise. And I mean within the last 100 miles. It has led an easy life, never been tracked or molested. It has spent some time in a heated garage under wraps but now is back and loving being alive again! This model comes with black optics incl roof rails, badging, grills and smoked rear lights. Full heated black leather, electric tilt and slide sunroof, 6 CD Bose, leather centre arm rest and FSH. 2 Keys included with a full leather manual comes with her. I’ve several front bonnet grills, chrome badges and other spares that will go with the sale. Plenty of tread on Dunlop Sport tyres and no curbing on wheels but there is some small bubbles showing on a couple of these original wheels but are unbroken and easily treated.
Body work is excellent, both straight and dent free. Some small stone chips (touched up) and some slight scratches on entry points. Very minor. All recent mechanicals have been done by a highly trained, well respected mechanic who I trust on all my cars and has cut his teeth on performance vehicles. Personally, I have been fortunate to have had quite a few RS cars over the years and this B5 with its 2.7 V6 Biturbo on a manual box, is still my favourite, drives like new and everything works as it should.
Recent work includes the following.
New B7 calliper’s, discs and pads on the front
New Cat back Miltek resonated exhaust
Newly re-gassed aircon. Ice cold! New front and rear wipers
New cam belt, water pump and coolant including new reservoir and air filter
New MOT no advisories
Recent service, full valet and leather clean
New RS4 mats and refurbished leather gear knob
New DIS instrument display.
This car is fully prepared and ready to be enjoyed. I use it regularly and know how to cool it down as well as warm it up. I am of more senior years and have a fair understanding of these type of cars, their weaknesses, strengths and areas in need of attention. I own the car outright, its registered to me, it has no bad history, no cats no visits to the chop Shop nor been around the Ring sideways and visited the wall. She is fully HPI clear and has been mechanically checked over recently including on a ramp. She runs on 98 ron only.
Now, I have in the past had plenty of my fair share of time wasters with car sales. This is a car for a serious buyer with both knowledge and understanding. The car is not concourse and there is always more that can be done buts its nor far off for its age. If you find a less miles, owners and better spec car for less, then buy that one! I know I am asking keen money but based on what’s available currently and its investment status, it’s totally worth every penny. I’m not interested in haggling at stupid prices nor am I desperate to sell. Why would I? The longer I keep it the more she is worth! I want to sell her as I have another itch to scratch and need the garage space but it will be reluctantly. I have detailed videos and other pics for serious buyers only and I can arrange transported delivery throughout the UK at cost. RS forum members with more than 5 posts and can spell their own name, will get a discount. I do have other cars also for sale of a similar performance and condition and I am happy to discuss those also.

I assumed IBA was referring to the lack of corrosion on the underside rather than picture orientation...may be wrong

All and everything to do with the lack of corrosion. I've had a lifetimes worth of UK cars here in Australia over the years and every single one of them has had terminal corrosion despite waxoil and other treatments.

Contrast with my aged Audi collection all delivered here in Australia and there is zip corrosion anywhere, so it's a real event to see a UK car of that age so clean. It'll be a nice buy for someone.
