For a piano black RS7 interior trim.
Can swap with racing aluminium ( sort of silver carbon effect) Any leads gratefully received!

Carbon fibre looks the nuts, piano always gives the impression it will scratch and mark very easily.

Thanks for thoughts on this.
German carbon trim has small scratches🙄
Can’t wrap existing trim as it is not entirely smooth.
Any piano black trim that does become available always has some scratches and don’t know how easily it will polish?
Do you think a body Shop could scotchbrite and re laquer?
I guess the search will have to continue☹️

The carbon fibre has an epoxy on it that can be polished easily where the piano black has a very thin lacquer on it which can only be polished minimally. Its so thin you risk cutting through the clear coat into the surface below.
You have a much easier task which you can do yourself of polishing up the carbon trim.
I have 4 door trims in brushed aluminium sat around somewhere if you want to go down the bodyshop route.. The centre console trim is the same as the a6 so it would leave you to get the 2 dash board trims
