wanted: B7 RS4 ceramics

Apparently b7 and b8 brakes are the same- would the ceramics transfer across? (Was told this when looking for AP front discs...apologies if that was rubbish). Just bought. A new front set OEM from Audi for my B8.5 but wouldn’t say no to carbon ceramics in future.

There was a recall for these if fitted from factory. If the bolts snap when they attempt to remove them, which happens 9/10. You’ll be compensated with a fresh set. You can then command far more than 2.5-3k

I had firm offers of 3k for my set, they had only done 10k ish (were replaced under warranty) I turned it down. In the end I gave them away for free to a very good friend!

Thanks for that- how odd that the garage I spoke to had heard from AP themselves that they were?

Oh well. I’d love a set of ceramics but I’m not sure my bank balance would
