Those look great. Glad you sorted itHuman Joist wrote:They look good.
I’ve just collected these springs. They are off a plus so will sit a bit lower as well. Chuffed with this. Will get them fitted tomorrow

Cheers. Got the rear assembled and fitted now will do the fronts tomorrow. Just hoping that sod of a multi link suspension bolt at the top plays ball
I’ve had enough set backs with the suspension
Re: Urgent suspension help
Sorry, been through my garage and can only find the one (rear?) set.

Re: Urgent suspension help
Interesting. The colour code on your springs is the same as mine. Would that not mean they are the same??? They do look very fresh though so great find.

Re: Urgent suspension help
Cool. I'm not convinced they are plus springs, though, but the parts catalogue is pretty opaque on the colour codes, so hard to be sure.

You absolutely don’t need to undo it.

Re: Urgent suspension help
Ok. I ended up undoing that and the two 13mm under the bonnet each side to drop it down. They both undid and slid out no issues. The back up plan was to leave them alone if they didn’t play ball.
All done now and just getting tracked up

Re: Urgent suspension help
Yes mate. Your guide wasn’t it. Went really well. Little nuts but rather rusty.
On a side note I’ve noticed a little knock today so will check everything tomorrow. I think now that the suspension actually moves it will highlight the odd worn part.
Got it all tracked up yesterday. Went well apart from the one rear right tracking bolt innermost with the multispline thread that was stuck fast. They didn’t want to snap it and suggest the bush will be swollen and need the bolt curing out
Re: Urgent suspension help
Check the steering rack bolts. They have a tendency to come loose.
I've got a knocking / rattling from the front left of the Mitsubishi. Sigh. I hate suspension problems.

Re: Urgent suspension help
This knock is from the rear. Maybe exhaust, will have a hunt. I’d rather have suspension issues than random knock hunting

Re: Urgent suspension help
Cheers. Overall it went well. The seized bolt for the rear bush will be cut out next year and I will renew the lot. Maybe polybush them.
I’ve noticed a little knock on the front. Which I reckon is the drop links. The front right one looked a little older than the front left. Is it worth getting some drive on ramps so I can check it and the rest under load ??
The only issue I have noticed I’m not sure about is the rear right corner seems to sit lower than the rest. Has anyone else had similar issues on these ?

Re: Urgent suspension help
This is just after it was fitted. Seems the suspension has settled a bit. But almost a bit more at the rear
