Black smoke and weird sound problem

I have noticed that my car's engine emitting black smoke from the last two days. Some times it makes a weird sound. May i solve this problem or may i need to take any workshop?

I wouldnt start it up again but get a qualified mechanic to look at it & possibly give some reasons as to what it could be. You dont want to risk doing damage.

I wouldnt start it up again but get a qualified mechanic to look at it & possibly give some reasons as to what it could be. You dont want to risk doing damage.
