What a nightmare, I have insured mine today from Tuesday but no Tracker Requirement !!,

NFU did not insist on tracker for mine and were very cheap (just over £400 fully comp with full NCB and living in the sticks).

Got tracker fitted and at dealer now!
It seems that anything over 75k requires a tracker.
Anyway, got it sorted.

£375 no tracker required

I’m with saga with my other car but they couldn’t even quote as the RS4 isn’t on their system.
I spoke with the saga underwriters though and they are looking into it so that they can quote.
They will require a tracker though (so they said).
Still, I have a few days to sort the insurance now.
Fantastic car BTW!
So much better than my old B8 (do miss the V8 howl though!!).

That's weird as i got the insurance with Saga last year

Just did a quote on there sight the RS4 is listed in all its trims levels but its under A4 it came out at £435 no tracker mentioned in the qoute

Also has the new RS6 but again its under A6 not specifically RS6

And i got a quote for £480

Saga wouldn’t quote as there is a claim registered from last year on my other car.
Long story but there wasn’t a claim and it shouldn’t have been registered.
Admiral with both cars was best so far.
Going to ask my broker to have a look tomorrow; I’m fed up with it now!!

I have just Insured with Admiral, Carbon Black ,
I am 46 - no Tracker, got it for 465.00 Annual Payment

Car still on route on a Transporter !!

Just beware with admiral, it’s a very basic product. You have to declare every option yet they don’t insure you for this value.

It is miles away from NFU or Hiscox, for example.

I am intending on taking out a full 4 Year back to invoice GAP insurance instead of having a Tracker.

I’ve taken out gap too.
The Audi insurance quote was fairly competitive so I think I’ll go with them if my broker can’t come up with anything better.
Anyway, back to the car.
Can’t believe the difference between this and a B8.
Not driven it for long yet but first impressions are great.
Need to have a play with everything which I’ll do this weekend.
Can’t wait to have a ‘proper’ drive!
