Need Info about RS4

Hello Im Bojimir from Bulgaria

before 10 days i import my rs4 from Canada only 28000 mi, but some parts have strange color
its normal valve cover to be OEM silver ? not red?
and intake manifold to be light siver to ?
if someone can help with the information it is normal or someone repainted them

btw wanted to buy carbon engive covers

valver cover and intake is for rs
the color is light i check 1000 pics on google valve cover and intake is the same but color is different

Yep, that is not an RS4 engine. It’s a V8 Audi engine but not an S4 manifold. Valve covers, manifold, coil pack connectors are all the wrong colour and type. Doesn’t even seem to have the mount for the rear, carbon engine cover.

I mean it is an S4 engine not and RS4 engine, that’s why it is not the right colour. Manifold is wrong colour although looks like the RS manifold, valve covers are wrong, coil packs are wrong.

My money is on a Q7 4.2.

I’m not tying to be a smart ar$e but why would you buy and import a Canadian car in to Bulgaria? There’s got to be cheaper and closer options in the EU.

It’s a b8 s5 engine

Or as someone mentioned Q7, although the breather hose connection on the oil filler side looks different as its angled and not straight, and the diaphragms for the manifold are in a strange place

Now i will send car to audi to check engine code
Today i check only ecu code and is for rs4

Its really strange q7,s4,s5 have different intake
And i dont think this engines can run whit rs4 ecu
The car runs good rev limiter is on 8250 rpm
I hope they change only valve covers and take intake from some stelt audi

Im okey i speak whit the dealer who import the car and if have some problem i will take my money back

For the man who ask me why from canada not eu
Its for price man and for low km the car have only 28000
I cant buy good rs on low km i find 1 in germany whit 68 000 for 40k euro....

HDZ is an RS4 B7 engine code so that sounds like good news. Be good to understand why the different covers and manifold?

Looks like an RS4 to me
It has direct injection pumps
Oil fill cap in the right place
